Burayu, top of their group

Three wins out of four matches Burayu Town is leading national league season group “B” fixtures while strong side Ledetta Nyala takes the other group top spot.
After 2-1 victory over new comer Legetafo Town the hot favorite to win its group Zemariam Mengestu’s Burayu takes the lead with ten points out of a possible twelve. With only one draw against strong contender Insurance, attacking minded Burayu appears a side determined to go all through the tough season to clinch a place in the higher tier. Insurance under head coach Asrat Haile also rides high with an emphatic 3-0 win over Federal Police meaning second on the table with nine points.
Ledetta Nyala is determined to be back to the premier league in the coming season. They are seen as the strongest side in the group that is comprised of eight sides including Water Works and Debrebirhan Town. Former Hawassa Town head coach Kemal Ahmed has formed a side capable of sailing through the rough waters of the league season collecting 10 points from four matches. Ledetta’s domination over Tesfazer FC to take all three points after a 2-0 victory showed others what a strong promotion contender it is. After 1-0 win over Sululeta Town, Mekonen KIebede’s Water Works grabs the group runner-up spot and is thus likely to challenge Ledetta  for group top spot having nine points from four matches. The coming Saturday Abebe Bikila stadium hosts a game Ledetta Nyala versus AA University followed by Tesfazer facing AA Police.
