Dedebit for a big showdown against Ethiopian Coffee today

Dedebit plays Ethiopian Coffee today for the premier league season first round final fixtures. Defence Force visits Adama Town while Harar Brewery entertains Diredawa Town.
Fourth in the league table with 17 points and two games in hand Dedebit entertains defending champion Coffee with nineteen points. Two wins in the last three matches, head coach Wubetu Abate’s Coffee has the edge to win today’s clash against newly appointed head coach Kokobe.

In poor form Defence Force travels to Adama Town to win its first full three points after number of matches at home and away. Despite the return of star striker Oumed Oukry after a long injury, Ashenafi Bekele appears to have lost the compass on how to navigate last seasons’ strong contender the Army side is currently 11th in the table with 11 points. Though head coach Sisay moved to Share Ethiopia, Adama’s home record makes it favorite to a home victory. New comer and bottom of the table with each nine points Commercial Banks travels to Sebeta for the first round final match against Mugher Cement.
Dedbit FC sacked head coach Gebremedin Haile after a season and a half with the club. The head coach who helped promote Dedebit to premier league two seasons back, Hailemicahael   Tesfaye, popularly known as Kokobe, is back to the club for his second spell.
Although replacing a head coach in midseason is a set back for the club’s campaign, the club’s high officials decided to boot out the former Saint George and National team popular striker and bring in Kokobe for a fresh start and unfortunately Kokobe’s debut match is a tough encounter against the defending champions Ethiopian Coffee today. Five wins, two draws and three defeats out of ten matches Dedebit collected 17 points out of a possible 30, thus unhappy with the record the club decided the axe to come down on him. According to the club’s statement more than half a million Birr has been spent at the start of the season to strengthen the squad considered the best among the premier league sides, the club could not achieve its dream of strong contention to the title. Formerly with Trans Ethiopia, Ethiopia banks, Insurance and  Ethiopian Coffee  head coach Gebremedin  had been with Dedebit for a season and half before the sudden sacking to make way to Kokobe who left national league side MetaAbo Brewery to join his former side.
