Ethiopia to construct centre in New Delhi

A cornerstone was laid in New Delhi, India to construct a centre aimed at promoting culture and tourist sites in Ethiopia, the Ethiopian Tour Operators’’ Association said. Association President Fitsum Gezahegn said that the centre will be constructed in the compound of Ethiopian embassy. The construction of the centre will enable Ethiopia and India to increase flow of tourists and further strengthen existing people-to-people relation, the president said. President of Indian Association of Tour Operators Subhash Goyal on his part said efforts will be exerted to ensure mutual benefits through promoting tourist sites in Ethiopia. The president said that he witnessed Ethiopia being good destination for tourism during his recent visit to the country. The Associations signed a memorandum of Understanding to work together in culture and tourism sector. Culture and Tourism State minister, Tadelech Dalecho laid the cornerstone for the centre.
