Ethiopia signs air transport agreement with Germany

The Ethiopian Government signed a bilateral air services agreement with the German Federal Republic  on  May 22 in Bonn, Germany in the presence of Gobena Guangul vice director of Aviation regulation at the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) and Ulrich Martin director of international air transport at the German transport, construction and urban development ministry. The new agreement would enable Ethiopian Airlines to fly seven times a week to four German cities up from the current three times a week flights it does to two cities. Gobena on his part said the new agreement is part of Ethiopian’s plan according to the Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP) to increase its international destinations to 65.
