Adama is welcoming back Coach Wondimagegne Kebede for his second stint with the team.  Wondimagegne won a championship with Electric twelve years ago.  The former goalie who led Electric to their first title played with six teams including Debreberhan. He spent a couple years away from coaching after leading Electric, Banks and Insurance previously.

Adama Town was looking to replace Sisay who resigned at the end of the first round to move to National League side Share Ethiopia for a mouth watering 10,000 Birr a month salary two months ago. Although his signing bonus and monthly salary are not being disclosed a lot is expected of Adama’s new leader as they hope to maintain their mid table position. Sadly enough Wondimagegne’s debut as head coach to Adama opened with a 1-0 defeat at Arbaminch.
This year has seen Gebremedin Haile go to Defense Force, Ashenafi  Bekele to Diredawa and Negussie Desta to Air Force. Now Wondimagegne is the fourth head coaching replacement in the Premiere League’s second round.
In other developments the defending champion Coffee’s coach Wubetu Abate agreed to stay with the club until the end of the season despite having two years remaining on his contract agreement.
“I made an emotional decision when I decided to resign after losing 3-2 to Mugher Cement. Now I am committed to the club until June and will work hard to make the best out of the rest of the season for our diehard supporters,” Wubetu remarked in his emotional return to Coffee.
