Cost-Benefit analysis of newly appointed head coaches

Dedebit Fc is the only side that manages to collect by far a better number of points following the appointment of new head coach, while Defense Force, Air Force and Dire Dawa Town are still struggling to find good form under their respective new head coaches.
Haile Michael Tesfaye, popularly known as Kokobe is performing a miracle in his second spell with Dedebit since walking out of the national league side Meta Abo Brewery four matches before the end of the first round; riding on in victory, losing only a single game out of eight outings.
Five wins, three draws and one defeat Dedebit emerges the latest premier league strong title contender sitting second with 36 points. On the other hand, Defense Force has hardly reaped any fruits from sacking Ashenafi Bekele, who was replaced by Gebremedin Haile. Gebremedin just landed his first three points on Wednesday defeating visitors Diredawa Town since taking over the hot seat at the Army side. Air Force appears with the worst scenario that is six defeats out of six outings. The side is still in the rock bottom position of the league table with just nine points in 17 matches. The replacing of Kifle Boltena by Negussie Desta and the addition of veteran players including Ashenafi Girma failed to help the side to survive in the upper echelon. Former Banks and Defense Force head coach Ashenafi Bekele managed to collect four points from four matches which is hardly a good result in cost- benefit analysis. Two defeats including one at home to Hawassa Town and a famous 1-0 home win over Ethiopian Coffee, Wondemagne Kebede’s reappointment to Adama Town may be in balance considering his late arrival to the side to play a major role in the show.
