Haile, has no more intention for London Olympics

After four desperate trials in the past six months, all time world great distance athlete Haile G. Selassie announces that he has no more intention to book a place in 2012 London Olympics.
According to Mark Sheman’s report, the living legend appears all the more determined to enjoy athletics although he is still in good shape. However, he has no intention to represent Ethiopia in London. Back from the OMV Champions Race in Vienna last Sunday where he gave world women marathon record holder Paula Radcliffe a 7minute 52 second start and then caught her in the Half marathon race clash he told reporters that he is not taking part in London Olympics just hundreds days away from opening. “Although I am not taking part in the London Olympics, I am still enjoying my athletics career,” Haile remarked. The 38 year old living legend also announces that he is ready for his fifth win in Bupa Great Manchester Run on 20 May 2012. Bidding for his fifth win, Haile acknowledges that Manchester’s 10 Km course is the fastest in the world and he is ready to conquer it for a record fifth time in front of spectators where he enjoyed in his every visit. Haile’s next stop is Henglo for his last 1000 meter race. Also in the news is that of the president of Austria Heinz Fischer met Haile G/Selassie and British athletics star Paula Radcliffe for a reception in the Vienna Hofburg during the marathon weekend in Vienna.
