Ethiopian Football Federation announces the one month in suspension premier league season resumes as of 22 June 2012. Four matches in 17 days the season appears to end on 7th July and the knock-out championship likely to postpone for the coming season.

It is amazing why it is difficult to complete an annual soccer schedule despite having extended sunny months. Those concerned blame the federation as well the so called league committee for failure of a complete season. However, the latest EFF schedule kicks-off 21 June 2012 just four days after the three matches in 10 days international qualification matches come to an end. When the season resumes premier league leader Saint George travels to Assela to face fourth place Mugher Cement while second spot Dedebit entertains relegation struggler Defense Force. Already losing momentum third place Electric travels to for a strong showdown against home side Harar Brewery. Fifth in the league table Hawassa Town host in serious relegation threat Diredawa Town while bottom of the table Air Force entertains mid table Commercial Banks at Debrezeit 45 KM from the capital. Nine defeats in nine consecutive matches Air Force with just nine points is hottest favorite to go down in to the national league the coming season. Die hard Arbaminch Town host defending champion and currently tenth in the league table Ethiopian Coffee while Sidama Coffee entertains under head coach Wondmagne Kebede Adama Town in Hawassa. Saints striker Adane Girma ,leads the top scorers chart with 16 goals with Medhane Tadesse second with 14 goals. Fitsum G/Mariam of Mugher and Getaneh Kebede of Dedebit are third each with 14 goals.
