The Nation secured over 2.4 USD billion from foreign trade in the past nine months, the Ministry of Trade said. Ministry of Corporate Communication office head, Amakele Yemam told the Ethiopian News Agency (ENA) that the stated revenue exceeded that of last year by over 352 million US dollars. The head said livestock, gold, textile, flower, mineral and fruits are among the export produce that have shown an increase. Amakele said China, Somalia, Germany, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Djibouti, USA, Israel, Belgium, France, Egypt, Turkey, Britain, Japan and India are among the destinations of the Ethiopian exported items.
