Tsegaye likely to replace Wubetu as Coffee boss

The speculation that Harar Brewery head coach Tsegaye Kidanemariam’s appointment to take over Ethiopian Coffee is getting momentum following the end of the current season.
Tsegaye is the favorite to replace Wubetu Abate who stayed for more than three months with Coffee FC after submitting his resignation completing his contract. Wubetu now appears to be officially free and to be replaced by Tsegaye who had been with Harar Brewery for the past five seasons.
Although his side survived at the final days of the season, he is known in building a ball playing team highly favored by Ethiopian Coffee supporters. Some speculate Wubetu is likely to join the hot seat vacated by Tsegaye.
In the mean time runner-up Dedebit FC is said to be looking a foreign head coach to replace Kokobe who helped the side to finish second place, after wave of second round wins. According to insiders Dedebit’s plan for the coming season is not only a local championship title but also a good run at East and Central African club championship to be held in Ethiopia next year.
“We have strong squad but need some additional fire power in order to compete at international level. Why not go for East African club championship title?” Dedebit supporter remarked.
