Premier league season transfer in slow motion

The much talked about Ethiopian premier league transfer saga appears to lose momentum following government institutions’ cautious involvement in the market. Even though players transfer appears to get momentum at the end of the season following a rumored 700,000 Birr payment from Dedebit, it is now slow and quiet an only topic among brokers.
Commercial Banks, Electric, Mugher Cement, Insurance and Water Works’ not active in the transfer market the big money talk stands still. Mugher Cement’s stand not to exceed the 250,000 Birr signing fee triggered the slowness of the market for the above mentioned sides are running from a government allotted annual budget. Banks and Electric are said to join the market quietly but the remaining three especially the are sides promoted to the upper tier nearly dormant. Defense Force is the unofficial star player in the market signing in eight players’ notably central defender Shimeles from Mugher Cement and Zenebe from Hawassa Town. According to sources close to the club Shimeles is the most expensive player worth half million Birr for two years. Former Saint George attack Abiy Moges and team mate midfielder Elias are rumored to join Banks each receiving 500 thousand Birr for two years contract. Although it is not yet official Dedebit and national team defensive midfielder Addis Hensa is Ethiopian footballs most expensive player worth 700,000 Birr for two years.
