New comers Insurance & Water Works stay quiet

The much anticipated Ethiopian premier league transfer saga is suddenly losing momentum, as some clubs appear in hurry to kick-off their pre season.
Insurance and Water Works, both new comers to the upper tier, were hardly mentioned at the transfer market, phase two that is pre season preparation start to crowed headlines. Famous for sending up sides in to the premier league current Insurance FC head coach Asrat Haile’s plan for the new season appears an abstract for he remained absent from players’ transfer. Never short of money in its more than a quarter of a century history what Insurance is waiting for is a riddle for many of the club’s supporters as well as for the football family. Spending millions of birr for players might be a problem for government sides including Mugher Cement. What about Electric and Banks?
Silence governs also Water Works’ side, a new comer to the Ethiopian Premier League for the very first time in its history. According to sources the fate of head coach Mekonen is said to be stake for the side is looking for an experienced coach before unknotting the purse to sign new players. The sources said that there remain only seven players out of the squad that helped the side that promotion but so far no one player is even in speculation to join Water Works . “I think everyone at the club is still in shock surprise of promoting to the upper tier. That is why things stay quieter and I don’t think there is a possibility of forming a strong side.” A source who preferred not to be mentioned remarked.
