Zelalem appointed Sebeta head coach, while Samson stays at Harar

Sidama Coffee head coach Zelalem Shiferaw takes over at the National League Sebeta Town while former assistant to Tsegaye Kidanemariam, Samson Ayele claims the hot seat at Harar Brewery.
In his second season in the Premier League, Zelalem led Sidama to the seventh spot at the end of the season with 33 points from 26 matches. According to sources, the mid table result was not good enough for club officials. Instead, he opted to join the National League side Sebeta Town for a two year contract. Zelalem’s admirers are not happy with  his move to lower division side and said Southern Region’s emerging soccer power Sidama Coffee would have been a better place for his carrier. “He joined Sebeta because he does not know what the National League season looks like,” Admas Ayele told Capital sport. The speculation is that Zelalem will collect a ten thousand birr a month, two year contract. The former Sebeta head coach Dereje left his job after a mutual agreement and is now in the lookout for a fresh start.
In the meantime Samson Ayele takes over at Harar Brewery following head coach Tsegaye K/Mariam’s move to Ethiopian Coffee. Samson has been assistant coach to Harar’s most popular coach Tsegaye who had been there for six seasons. Popular brewery and strong supporter of world football, Heineken is taking over the company and a brighter future is said to be on the horizon for the only representative of Harar at the premier league.
