Saint George takes premier league table top spot after a 1-0 mid week victory over visitors Arba minch Town. Josy Obewami grabbed a last minute winner to help his side get the three points to go clear of second place Electric that has 11 points from five matches. Back from a 2-0 away defeat to Hawassa,  Electric staged a surprise come back to crush Harar Brewery 4-1. Having only a single point from five matches, new comers Water Sport appear to be heading back to the national league. Visitors Adama Town won their match against them 3-2, pushing Water Sport to the bottom of the table, with a single point. In the meantime Ethiopian Coffee is back to its winning ways, taking home an important 1-0 victory over the Defence Force. Tafesse Tesfaye scored the winner from the penalty spot to help his side climb up the table with nine points. Defence has seven points. The mid week’s biggest clash between derby rivals Sidama Coffee and Hawassa Town ends 3-2 in favor of Sidama, suspended from home after crowed problems at Yirgalem. Two wins in a row away to Coffee and home to Electric, Hawassa was pre-derby favorite but Sidama Coffee stayed in the driving seat from start to finish. Last season runner-up Dedebit FC settled for a goal-less draw with Commercial Banks. Sending out its eleven players at the end of last season, Mugher Cement is still in search of a win this time and settled to a goal-less draw with Insurance FC already collecting eight points from five matches. The weekend’s big match today is Electric versus the Defence Force for the sixth week fixture.
