Investors undertaking over 64.6 bln birr projects

Some 170 investors with more than 64.6 billion birr in combined capital are engaged in various development activities in the town of Mojo of the Oromia Regional state, the town investment office said. The investors are undertaking projects in the areas of floriculture, agro-industry, manufacturing and social services delivery on 105.8 hectares of land. Office Head, Eshetu Shume told ENA that investment flow is increasing in the town since the last three years. The town administration has put in place an efficient system to provide services to investors, he said. Projects owned by 67 of the investors have already entered the production phase and created 4,000 permanent and temporary jobs.
