Exploring and exchanging ideas for solutions to security challenges


The second Tana High-Level Forum on Security in Africa was held last weekend in Bahir Dar with the theme “Security and Organized Crime in Africa”. The forum was attended by four Heads of State from Rwanda, Somalia and Sudan, as well as the Prime Minister of Ethiopia. Special representatives from Liberia, Uganda and Algeria were also in attendance.
The Tana High-Level Forum on Security in Africa is an annual event which provides an environment conducive to a select group of leaders, including Heads of State and Government, eminent personalities from Africa and the rest of the World, CEOs of private-sector companies, civil society organizations and think tanks, to examine and debate peace and security challenges facing the African continent.
