WAFA Marketing & Promotion Plc in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jetro and the Ethiopian Embassy in Japan are joining hands in organizing a trade and investment forum in Tokyo, Japan on June 2, 2013.
The Forum will strengthen the tie that Ethiopia has with Japan with regards to foreign trade especially in the areas of coffee, floriculture, grains, and leather products.
It is estimated that more than 45 Ethiopian investors who are operating in these areas will participate in the forum.
Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn and other senior ministers, government officials and investors will be taking part in the forum.
Similarly, WAFA is teaming up with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the Ethio-South Korea Trade and Investment Forum on June 19, 2013.
During the forum, the ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is giving a special focus to Economic Diplomacy, will promote Ethiopia’s great resource potential and investment opportunities to its South Korean peer.
Ethiopian investors from various trade and agriculture sectors as well as more than 15 governmental and private university representatives are expected to participate during the forum.
According to WAFA, part from the Ethio-South Korea forum, Ethiopia and South Korea will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between the two nations. Furthermore Ethiopian Airlines will be starting a direct flight from Addis Ababa to Seoul on June 18th, 2013.
