AU condemns terrorist attack in Kenya


The African Union Commission Chairperson Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma condemned the attack on a mini-bus in Nairobi’s Eastleigh suburb last Saturday that claimed the lives of a number of innocent civilians and injured many others, AU said.
The Chairperson expressed the AU’s condolences to the bereaved families, and wished strength and a speedy recovery to the wounded.
She reiterated the AU’s unwavering support to the Government of Kenya in its efforts to combat terrorism.
She also stressed the AU’s commitment to continue working with Member States in preventing and combating terrorism within the framework of relevant AU and other international instruments.
