LG’s new clock

Residents of Addis can now look up and see the time and temperature thanks to LG and Metro Plc which installed a clock tower close to African Union Hall. Besides displaying the time and temperature, people can also send text messages through the tower.

The clock tower which cost 4 million birr to construct took four months to be completed. The location was chosen due to the high pedestrian and vehicular traffic density. The area around the clock is designated to be a public park.
LG Electronics recently started selling an 84 inch 3D technology TV in Ethiopia.
LG and Metro currently have 19 brand shops throughout Ethiopia and three permanent service centers in Addis Ababa.
