New film out to inspire

Adugna is about crime, betrayal, love and compassion. This new film that was premiered last week, aims at entertaining people from different background as its storyline  involves people from all walks of life.
The film, made by Aselef Media and Communication was officially premiered at the Hager Fiker Theater in the presence of the State Minister of Women, Children and Youth Almaw Mengest who stated that the local film industry has been growing significantly.
He pointed to film that address social issues as playing a vital role in educating the public. Over 40 actors and actresses, including some new faces, participated in the film and all of them received a certificate of acknowledgment from the State Minister.
Written by Sentayehu Kassahun and directed by Mentesenot Aschalew, the 90 minutes film took a year and a half to complete at a cost of 400,000 Birr. Its currently being shown across Addis.
