Quadrant to expand into manufacturing and mining

Quadrant Investment Group PLC, one of the biggest local logistics and life support companies, has announced plans for expansion into manufacturing and mining. Celebrating 5 years in business just a week ago with the presence of Dr. Wakgari Furi, State Minister of the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Natural Gas, company officials also promised to expand logistics support for the mining and oil and gas companies.
Quadrant isn’t settling on its current achievements and activities; the company’s economic activities are work over400 million birr, just in expenditure and it has become a key source of tax revenue for the government. Coffee roasting, a 120 million Ethiopian birr bottling plant with “Hello Nature” mineral water bottles, and industrial mining are some among many plans the company has for the near future.
The Company provides logistics and life support requirements – often to those in the oil and gas industry – ranging from relocating goods across region or move an offshore platform, helping navigating regions beset by remotes, lack of infrastructure or security issues.
