Ethiopia to host WHO Regional Committee for Africa

Ethiopia will be hosting the 66th Session of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Regional Committee for Africa August, 19-23 2016 at the United Nations Conference Center in Addis Ababa.
Prime Minister Hailemariam is officially opening the Session, there will be health ministers and other delegates from 47 countries in the WHO Africa region who will come to Addis. During the meeting the main agenda will be health challenges facing the region.
Among the key speakers at the meeting include Honorable Dr. Keseteberhan Admasu, the Minister of Health of Ethiopia, Honorable Dr Margaret Chan, the current Director-General of WHO and Honorable Dr Matshidiso Moeti, the Regional Director of WHO Africa region.
