To share the experiences of international, private and government schools the Back to School Expo will be held in Addis Ababa, at the UNECA Hall from August 10 -13 this year.
More than a hundred schools from KG, elementary and high school, teachers associations, Education Ministry, school owners, and parents will participate in the expo. Studies will be presented to show the strengths and challenges of education in Ethiopia. The Expo, which is organized by Noosphere Trading PLC is expected to feature organizations providing services to families who need help with their children. The expo is hoping to give away one pack – of school supplies, and a different range of books, and scholarships for selected students.
Robel Bekele, Managing Director of Noosphere told Capital that the expo will be advantageous for schools hoping to promote their services.
“Parents don’t have the chance to understand school teaching methodology which would help them to send their children into the right schools, there are thousands of schools in the city but they do not have the platform to take lessons from one another and I hope this expo will give them this chance.’’
He added that the expo will also provide an opportunity to learn more about services available in Addis Ababa.
Cuba has already promised to share their school service experience in the coming expo.
