Cecafa latest edition kicks-off 3rd December 2017 in host nation Kenya

Notorious for its interruption and lack of sponsorship one of the oldest soccer championships CECAFA is back on stage after three years. The regional championship that brings ten nations including invited Zimbabwe and Libya kicks-off 3rd December 2017 with the political hot bed Kenya as the host. Sudan, Somalia, Djibouti and Eritrea are absent from the event.
Securing the sponsorship deal until 2019, the Tanzanian Sport channel Azam TV is the title sponsor of the tourney that brings ten nations in two groups Kenya took full responsibility staging the event in three different venues: Kakamega, Kisumu and Nakuru stadiums.
