Red eyed Laura Muir blames Genzebe for her double loss at Birmingham

Laura Muir turned out a bitter loser pointing fingers against her dream destroyer Genzebe Dibaba who became the first ever double gold medalist in the history of the World Indoor Championships. The 24 year old Scottish national told reporters that she chose not to have a relationship with Genzebe because her coach said it isn’t good to have a relationship with an athlete whose manager is under investigation for doping. Sifan Hassen, an Ethiopian who now lives in the Netherlands lost both events and was stripped of her gold medal in the 5,000 meter race.  What her coach Andy Young forgot was to teach her to accept defeat in modesty.
Laura who ended in tears was beaten by Caster Semania in the 1,500m.  The 27 year-old sparkling Genzebe Dibaba led Ethiopia to finish runner-up at the Birmingham World Indoor Championship which brings more than 400 participants from 125 nations. A double gold from Genzebe and one each from Yomif Kejelcha and Samuel Tefera  meant Ethiopia stood second with five medals.
