Tigray Organizes Great Run to bolster Ethio-Eritrea ties

A Great Run organized to consolidate the relationship between Ethiopia and Eritrea will take place on October 21, 2018 in Mekele, according to Tigray regional state Athletics Federation.
The Great Run is organized by the regional federation and Eritrean athletics professionals, it was learned.
Tigray Athletics Federation President, Kidane Teklehaimanot, told ENA that famous athletes from Tigray region and Eritrea will compete in a 5,000 km race.
The president said the Great Run, which is the first of its kind, will play a big role in boosting the recently reached peace agreement between Ethiopia and Eritrea.
