Xylexpo 2022 exceeds expectations

Last Saturday, October 15, the 27th edition of Xylexpo, the international biennial of technology for the wood and furniture industry, closed. After four busy days in halls 22 and 24 at FieraMilano-Rho, the show can confirm what it suspected from the start: the 2022 edition has been a success. According to the organizers, part of this success is due to “the desire to recover face-to-face meetings after the pandemic”, which finally materialized through positive attendance figures.
Xylexpo 2022 was attended by more than 16,000 unique visitors. Of the total of 16,000 unique visitors, 12,356 were registered at the Xylexpo entrance turnstiles, while at least 4,000 (according to estimates prior to official figures) came from Viscom Italia and, above all, from 33.Bimu. It should also be noted that for the first time the wood and furniture technology biennial was held in parallel with the digital communication fair and the machine tool exhibition organized by Ucimu. This joint event in space and dates was promoted with the aim of taking advantage of a much more effective synergy. The two events dedicated to manufacturing technology created a virtuous circle, generating a very positive impact that did not go unnoticed by the organizers. In fact, the success of the three parallel events had already been announced since the pre-registration phase, when the majority of visitors had declared their intention to visit the parallel halls.
