Zemen Bank’s HQ inaugurated

Zemen Bank’s headquarters, a 36-storey building built at a cost of around 1.5 billion birr, located in the financial district of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, was inaugurated on Saturday May 27, 2023.
Attending the inauguration ceremony were Mamo Mihretu, Governor of National Bank of Ethiopia and other government officials.
Zemen’s new building rests on 2,300 Square meters of land. The contractor is Chinese government owned China Wu Yi CO Ltd and took five years to be completed.
Established in 2008, Zemen’s paid up capital stands at 4.7 billion birr.
In the 2021/22 budget year Zemen Bank has registered a profit of 2.1 billion birr before tax.
