PM Abiy initiates ‘Education for Generations’, national campaign

‘Education for Generations’, a national campaign geared to improve the infrastructure of over 49,000 schools with the participation of all citizens and organizations, sees the light of day, with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed leading the proceedings.
“We have launched the ‘Education for Generations’ national campaign today enabling us all to contribute ideas, resources and energy in revitalizing our school systems,” the PM underscored.

The initiative which was facilitated by the Ministry of Education has launched a portal through which anyone can access and pledge their support for the school.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister, the campaign aims to enable Ethiopians and foreign nationals of Ethiopian origin in the country and abroad to contribute to the fulfillment of adequate school infrastructure in their place of birth, where they studied prior or where they work.
