Invitation to Bid

1. Awash Insurance S.C. (AI) invites interested and eligible competitive bidders for the procurement of Switch, Routers, Software, Network Equipment and other services including Network installation and configuration through an open competitive National bidding. 
2. A complete set of bid documents can be obtained up on payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 1000.00 (One thousand Birr) commencing from 5 May 2025 from AI Procurement, Logistics and Property Administration Department, Ras Abebe Aregay Street, on the 5^th floor of Awash Towers.
3. The bid document shall be collected during office hours Monday to Friday morning 8:00 to 12:00 AM, Afternoon 1:00-4:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 to 12:00 AM.
4. Bidders should present copy of renewed trade license, Vat and tax payer’s registration certificate and Tax clearance certificate.
5. Bid proposal should be accompanied by the bid bond/Earnest Money Deposit in the amount birr 400,000.00(four hundred thousand Birr) in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee or Cash Payment Order (C.P.O). Other forms of bid bond/Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) are not acceptable (address: Awash Insurance S.C).
6. There is no option to bid for a partial offer. Bidders should compete for a complete set of bid items.
7. A winner shall provide performance security which is (10%) of the contract price on or before signing contract agreement;
8. The bid will remain valid for 180 days.
9. Bids must be submitted in person to Awash Insurance S.C. during office hours only until 16 June 2025 at the place mentioned under number 2 above. The bid shall be closed on 16 June 2025 at 2:30pm
10. Bid opening shall be held in the presence of bidders and /or their legal agents who wish to attend on 16 June 2025 at 3:00 pm, Awash Insurance Headquarters, 15^th floor meeting hall.
11. Failure to comply with any of the conditions stated above shall result in automatic rejection.
