BOTSWANA EMBASSY JOB VACANCIES

The Botswana Embassy is pleased to announce exciting career opportunities for qualified and motivated individuals to join our team. We invite applications for the following positions:

  1. Store Keeper and Purchaser

Qualifications:

  • BA Degree or Diploma in Supplies Management, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • 1-5 years of relevant work experience.

Job Description:

The Store Keeper and Purchaser will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing stock levels, and ensuring the timely procurement of supplies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of stock and supplies.
  • Coordinating purchases and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
  • Collaborating with various departments to understand their supply needs.
  • Conducting regular inventory audits and reporting discrepancies.
  • Maintenance Officer

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field.
  • 5-10 years of work experience in maintenance, specifically in electrical systems, furniture, and pipe works.

Job Description:

The Maintenance Officer will ensure the efficient operation of all facilities and equipment within the Embassy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems, furniture, and plumbing at Chancery and Diplomatic Staff Residences.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing any maintenance issues that arise.
  • Conducting regular inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinating with external service providers when necessary.
  • And any related job or assistance as may be required by the Embassy
