Afolabi, Kalusha leading scorers

Nigerian, international striker Okiki Afolabi, who plays for Jimma AbaJifar and Ethio-Electrics Ghanaian target man, Alhasen Kalusha are the top scorers in the Ethiopia Premier League.
Upcoming striker Abel Yalew is getting noticed after five impressive goals with Dedebit FC.
AbaJifar’s start was unexpected. However, two important wins against Ethiopia Bunna and Arbaminch o along with a hat trick from Affolabi means AbaJifar resides third in the table with 11 points from eight matches. They have scored seven goals while conceding four. Six of the goals are in the name of the 23 year old former Nigerian U-17 and U-21 squad member Affolabi considered by team supporters as the savior.
Alhasen Kalusha is also a savior out of the blue for Electric hammering in seven of the nine goals that the team has scored this season. What is amazing about the Ghanaian striker is that many of his goals have come from personal brilliancy as opposed to team work. He is considered one of the few outstanding foreign players to grace Ethiopian football. Despite an inefficient squad Kalusha’s contribution helped Ethio-Electric shock Ethiopia Bunna 2-1 victory on Wednesday to sit 12th in the table with eight points from seven matches
