Debub Police and AbaBuna antagonizes Halaba

Minnow side Diredawa Cement managed a huge upset after a remarkable home defeat against Super League group “B” leader Halaba, while in strong form Debub Police and Jimma AbaBuna are closing on league leader Halaba.
In a hard to believe first ever defeat since December league leaders Halaba lost an away game to mid table Diredawa Cement. Nine wins, seven draws and two defeats Halab had been in control of the top spot for long in the season but with the unexpected defeat Debub Police and AbaBuna are closing the gap.
The hero with nine goals, Biruk Elias and other players with  eight goals each; Behailu Wegene and Abebayehu Yohannes a spear heading Debub Police which is only one point out of first place.  Scoring 37 while conceding only 17 Debub Police could be the recent time first ever team to represent Ethiopian Police Force at the top tier.
A 3-1 home victory over Deredawa Police, Jimma AbaBuna’s commitment to return to the upper tier after a season in the Super League appears a real possibility. A single defeat in seven consecutive matches and leading top scorer Bezuayehu Endashaw producing the winning goals, AbaBuna is in real contention of automatic promotion. Super League group “B” is not a three horse race for Dilla, Kaffa Buna and Hadiya-Hosana are lurking behind.
