Daniel sacked; pressure mounts on Seyoum, Zenebe

In fear of joining Debub Police and rock bottom of the table Dedebit FC in relegation, new comers Sehul-Shere booted out Head Coach Daniel Tsehaye and his coaching staff including the team leader Efrem Hadush. Mekelakeya’s Seyoum Kebede and Wolayta Dicha’s Zenebe Fisha are likely to get sacked before the start of the second round.
The only side without a win since the start of the season, Sehul-Shere fired Daniel after they tied fellow relegation favorite Mekelakeya. With, eight draws and three defeats in eleven matches Sehul is crawling close to the drop zone with just eight points. The team has foreign players. Yet they have only scored five goals while conceding a shocking 15. The club appeared to have no alternate except to kick out Daniel, the man who helped the team to promotion last season. Led by caretaker coach Gebrekiros Amare, Sehul settled for a goal less home draw against visitng Diredawa on Tuesday.
Dedebit and Debub Police are hardly capable of playing at the upper level. There is almost no doubt they will be relegated. Mekelakeya is 12th in the table with nine points from nine matches and Wolayta Dicha sits 11th with 10 points from ten outings. They are both under serious threat of relegation thus head coaches Seyoum Kebede and Zenebe Fisha are expected to be fired even before the end of the first round. According to close sources Seyoum may resign soon as he appears to have lost the clubhouse. Their team is on a five game losing streak.
