UAE’s initiative on education held in Ethiopia

As part of its activities to highlight the UAE’s achievements in 50 years since its unification in 1971, the UAE Embassy in Ethiopia held an event titled “Education in the UAE”, on 26th November 2020, at Gara Guri Secondary School in Addis Ababa.
The event was attended by Head of the Education Bureau of Addis Ababa City Government, Ethiopian Teachers Association, Ethiopian Parents Association and other invited guests.
Speaking during the event, Talal Al-Azeezi, Head of the Political, Economic, and Media Affairs Section at the UAE Embassy in Ethiopia, summaries the UAE’s achievements in the education sector in 50 years, and its efforts to provide future generations with the necessary technical and practical skills to develop the country in many fields, including space science, where the UAE Space Agency Educational Program works with (NASA) enabling students to work on researches under NASA mentor.
