The Embassy of France in Ethiopia

The Embassy of France in Ethiopia and to the African Union is pleased to announce its call for proposals dedicated to fighting violence against women and girls. The call is financed by the French government through the PISCCA Fund and aims to support small scale projects initiated by Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations.

  • Eligible themes dedicated to fighting violence against women and girls in Ethiopia :
    • Early and/or forced marriage of the girl child
    • Female genital mutilation
    • Caring for women and girls victims of physical, sexual and psychological violence, including rape as a tool for repression and conflict
    • Rebuilding the lives of victims and survivors
  • Key information :
  • Project implementation period : 12 to 18 months
  • Geographical coverage : Ethiopia
  • Budget : 1 to 2.4 million ETB
  • Deadline : April 30, 2021, 4 pm
