EMC, French embassy discuss Ethiopia’s media landscape

The French embassy in collaboration with the Ethiopian Media Council holds a panel discussion on the media landscape in Ethiopia.
Including Remi Merechaux, ambassador of France to Ethiopia, Amare Aregawi President of the Ethiopian Media Council, Rakeb Messele Deputy Commissioner of Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, Journalists, media owners and different stakeholders participated in the panel held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, in the premises of the Ethio-French Alliance of Addis Ababa.
This event was organized to celebrate 125 years of bilateral relations between France and Ethiopia and the panel discussions fell within the framework of the 125th anniversary of the bilateral relations between France and Ethiopia.
In similar news, this week the Embassy in collaboration with Alliance Ethio Francaise has conducted a two days masterclass training for Ethiopian journalists on conflict reporting. The training which was concluded on Wednesday took place in collaboration with the self-regulatory independent body, the Ethiopian Media Council.
