The government issued an expression of interest (EOI) to sell eight sugar millers for fully acquisition.

In 2019 it has been recalled that through the Ministry of Finance the government issued a request for proposal (RFI) to privatize selected sugar factories.

This time around under EOI the government has appointed Ernst and Young LLP as the lead transaction advisor to assist with the transaction process.
