Walia partner with music sensation Rophnan

Heineken Ethiopia under the brand Walia sign a major sponsorship deal with author, singer, composer Rophnan Nuri on his album called ‘SIDIST’.
As stated in the signing ceremony held on September 5, 2022, the sponsorship agreement will be unique with exciting events planned throughout the contract period.
Rophnan and Walia are also expected to collaborate on a youth program focused on the music industry.
Rophnan is the first Ethiopian artist to sign with Universal Music Records. The sponsorship agreement is said to span for 18 months.
Rophnan has released his new work, SIDIST a few weeks ago. Released through Universal Music, SIDIST makes ROPHNAN the first home-grown Ethiopian artist to sign with a major international label. He is among the new generation of Ethiopian Musicians and has managed to create his own fan base.
