Maqeda/Queen of Sheba concert

Maqeda/Queen of Sheba, Concert by Gabriella Ghermandi and Atse Tewodros Projet 7 was held on Tuesday February 7, 2023 at the Italian Cultural Institute.
The performer Gabriella Ghermandi and her Italian-Ethiopian ensemble Atse Tewodros Project were the protagonist of the suggestive evening dedicated to the Musical Dialogue between the two nations.

The concert Featured the band’s new album named “Maqeda/Queen of Saba” entirely dedicated to the female figure in Ethiopian history and mythology. The concert presents local tunes with Jazz inserts, reworked according to tradition various ethnicities of the country and performed in 8 different languages.
