EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR THE PROVISION OF DEFENSIVE DRIVING TRAINING SERVICE

IMS AND OBJECTIVES                                                                               

Safaricom Ethiopia wanted to hire a Defensive Driving Training service provider for its company Driver. As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety of our team and promoting best practices in road safety, we are seeking a qualified provider to deliver a comprehensive training program. This Expression of Interest (EOI) document is intended to lead to the identification of suppliers that can demonstrate that, the potential candidate should have sufficient capacity to provide this Training program in the best possible way and in a manner that enables Safaricom to meet its expectations.

EOI REQUIREMENTS

Safaricom Ethiopia is therefore, soliciting interested and capable service providers should submit their Expression of Interest by providing the information and documents listed below:

A. Provide  the  company’s  documents,  Company  Profile,  Business

License, Business Registration, TIN certification, and Memorandum of

Association.

B. Years of experience as a Defensive Driver Training provider

and the minimum requirement is five (5) years.

C. Confirmation of financial capacity of the company, Audited

Statement of Accounts and/or bank statement.

D. Provide the company’s Training curriculum Details, active clients, Instructors’ Qualifications and Availability proposals. E. Provide a minimum of five (5) references.

STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE

A. Commitment to providing consistently-quality DDT training as per the request throughout Addis Ababa and over all Ethiopian regions. B. Licensed by relevant authorities to Provide the Defensive Driving Training Service efficiently. C. Facilitate the efficient Defensive Driving Training delivery and follow up the Duration and Frequency & target Audience with the fleet & transport management team. D. Demonstrable capacity to offer quality and Target Audience, Duration and Frequency with no exceptions. E. Adherence  to  the  Safaricom  Ethiopia  Health  and  safety requirements and the Absolute Rules for Safety. F. Able to deliver requested training in short period of time to all Drivers found over all Ethiopian region that our business operated.

SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES

Interested suppliers should submit their response, comprising the documents listed above and the statement of compliance to the following email address, bids@safaricom.et no later than Monday, 19th   of May

2025 at 5:00 pm (GMT+3).

•   All submissions  to email should be less than 20MB in size, and if larger should be shared on a google drive link. Pleaseindicate the mail title as “THE PROVISION  OF DEFENSIVE DRIVING TRAINING SERVICE”.

NEXT STEPS

  Once the responses are received the further process will follow
the steps below:
•  Review of submitted Expressions of Interest qualification of shortlisted suppliers •  Issuing tender to prequalified suppliers

NOTE:

Only the suppliers who meet our minimum requirements will  be considered for further discussions.

•No prices should be provided with this EOI. I.e Only interest and technical capacity per minimum requirement is required.

•The receipt of a response shall not bind Safaricom to any contractual agreements with the prospective bidder. Such arrangements shall only

come in place once the tendering is completed, and an award has been issued to a successful bidder after a tender process. •Any costs associated with the preparation and submission of the response to the EOI shall be borne by the EOI respondent.

NOTE

Safaricom reserves, at its sole discretion, the right to select or reject, either in totality or partially, any or all proposals made in the context of this EOI. Any such decisions made will be final and no correspondence will be engaged in, other than to inform the bidders of the outcome of the process. Safaricom and its authorized representatives are hereby authorized to conduct any inquiries or investigations to verify the documents and information submitted in connection with this application.
