What a breath taking goal from Salhadin Seid!!

A breath taking volley from a 30 yard free kick, Ethiopian international Salhadin Seid heralded that he is past the seven month injury woe. With four goals in five matches the diehard striker has now returned to his former form thus Saint George has the comfort of having different attacking options.
Salhadin returned to action in good time because the club was hard up for goal getters. But Stewart Hall’s arrival turned out to be a lucky strike as he gambled on the lone striker not yet fully fit but famous for his goals out of nowhere. Salhadin delivered in style scoring important goals including the dying minute away winning goal against Dire Dawa. An opener against AbaJifar, a second in the 5-1 demolition of Mekelakeya and an astonishing opener against Dedebit on Thursday, Salahadin appears in full regalia to help Saint George back to the title.
It is not only about scoring goals but considering his selfless assists and creating spaces for his attacking partners; back from injury Getaneh Kebede and upcoming Abel Yalew, Saint George appears no more in need of foreign front players. Salahadin’s diehard spirit, Getaneh’s clinical finish and Abel’s speed at the edge of the box, Saint George has an amazing strike force capable of leading the side.
Thursday’s hard to believe volley from 35 meters to give his side an early lead won a standing ovation not only from Saint George supporters but from his football loving rivals who had been in hunger of such spectacular goals.
