Huawei advocates for an open, shared ICT talent ecosystem

Huawei Ethiopia and Addis Ababa University (AAU) collaborated to hold their third annual handshaking forum, a program designed to promote opportunities for graduate students. Addis Ababa University kicked off its annual Research and Fairs Week on May 15,2023, under the theme “Fostering Socioeconomic Development at the Core of Innovation and Entrepreneurship”
Addis Ababa University annual Research and Fairs Week continued up to May 18th 2023 at its 6kilo campus. In the opening, different ministries delivered an opening remark, among them Minister Ahmed Shide, Ministry of Finance; Minister Fitsum Assefa, Planning and Development Ministry; and Minister Belete Molla, Innovation Ministry.
Huawei has established an ICT academy in 45 private and public universities in collaboration with the Ethiopian Ministry of Education. Huawei hoped to collect more than 600 resumes from recent graduates at this exhibition, and Huawei-certified students will be given special consideration.
