Over 700 Global Investors Expected at Fourth ‘Invest in Ethiopia’ Forum in Addis Ababa

Ethiopia is finalizing preparations to host the fourth edition of the Invest in Ethiopia High-Level Business Forum on 26–27 March 2026, a flagship event aimed at attracting foreign investment and highlighting new economic opportunities. The forum will be held at the Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa and is expected to draw more than 700 international investors, senior business leaders, policymakers, and development partners, according to the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC).

The EIC said the two-day gathering will create a high-level platform for discussions on Ethiopia’s evolving investment climate, ongoing economic reforms, and opportunities in priority sectors. The forum is being jointly organized by the Ethiopian Investment Commission, the Ministry of Finance, and members of the Development Partners Group.
Organizers noted that deliberations will center on sectors identified as key drivers of Ethiopia’s growth, including manufacturing; agriculture and agro-processing; mining and renewable energy; information and communication technology and the digital economy; as well as tourism and hospitality. The event will also underscore recent policy reforms and address practical issues relevant to investors already operating in, or considering entry into, the Ethiopian market. (IFA)
