AFG Aviation to Expand its Presence in Africa, Including Ethiopia

AFG Aviation (AFG Aviation Ireland Limited) has announced its decision to significantly increase its aircraft financing and commercial involvement across Ethiopia and the rest of Africa.

The company stated that this strategic move is based on the visible growth of the aviation sector and the rising demand for aircraft supply across the continent.

Following its successful delivery of two aircraft to Nigeria’s Cally Air, AFG has now shifted its focus toward other key markets.

To lead this mission, senior company executives Christian Hatje and Shiekuma Gemade will conduct visits to various African countries in the coming months, according to information obtained by Capital from the company.

The services provided by the company reportedly include the sale and purchase of private jets, aircraft leasing and financing options, as well as fleet modernization strategies and advisory services

.

“Since Africa is a continent showing immense growth in global aviation, we want to be physically present to create lasting relationships with our partners,” said company executive Christian Hatje.

AFG Aviation expressed its readiness to provide modern and effective financial solutions for African airlines by leveraging its extensive experience in the sector.
