Invitation to Bid

Bid No. HB/002/2026

Hibret Bank has a Head Office Building which has 32 floors in Lideta Sub City, Woreda 7, right at Senga Tera square. The Bank intends to lease the ninth floor and eleven rooms of various sizes located in Blocks “A” and “B” of Hibir Tower for office use. Accordingly, the Bank invites interested parties to submit offers to lease the available premises.

Therefore, interested bidders shall submit their proposals as per the following conditions:

1. A complete set of Bidding documents can be purchased by interested bidders upon payment (depositing) of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 (Five Hundred) in Account Number IN0403007, in any Branch of Hibret Bank convenient to the bidder beginning after 2 (two) days of this bid announcement for the first time i.e. from October 14, 2026 to October 26, 2026.
2. Bidders can obtain the bid document from the Bank’s Head Office Building Procurement & Contract Management Department which is located at Lideta Sub City, Woreda 7, right at Senga Tera square 19^th floor.
3. Bidders can visit the floor reserved for lease purpose starting from October 12, 2026 to October 26, 2026 i.e Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
4. Interested bidders are advised to review the bid document carefully before preparing & submitting their bids.
5. Bidders must provide a Bid Bond in the form of a Bank Payment Order (CPO) equivalent to one-fourth (25%) of the one-month rent payable for the property offered for lease, with a validity period of ninety (90) days.
6. Bidders must make bank payment order (CPO) for bid security in any banks other than Hibret Bank.
7. Each bid must be presented in a sealed envelope and strictly following the instruction to bidders indicated in the bid document.
8. Bidders can submit their bid document in person at the Bank’s new Head Office Building Procurement & Procurement Contract Administration Department which is located at Lideta Sub City, Woreda 7, right at Senga Tera square 19^th floor, at October 22, 23, 24 & 26, 2026, to 4:00 PM. 
9. The bid will be opened at Hibret Bank Head Office Building located at Senga Tera square 4^th floor Meeting Hall in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the bid opening on October 27, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.
10. Failure to observe the instructions & conditions provided in the bid document will constitute grounds for rejection of the bidder from the competition.
