The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is an international non-governmental organization working in Ethiopia for provision of multi sector refugee and rural community assistance in Tigray, Benshangul-Gumuz, Somali, Oromia, Gambella and SNNP Regional States.

The IRC now invites sealed bids from all eligible bidders that are qualified, technically competent and have valid license for current Ethiopian FY 2014/2022 for the supply of

Lot 1:  4 set Dewatering Pumps, 18 set Indian mark II pumps, 3 set Arfidev hand pumps, 32-meter Suction   Hose’’ and 200 meter Delivery Hose’’,

Lot 2:   4-piece Generators (100KVA, 50KVA, 12KVA and 45 KVA)

Lot 3:  4-piece Submersible pumps with discharge capacity of (8 liter/second at 181 meters, 5 liter/second at 160-meter, 7 liter/second at 26 meter and 7 liter per second at 98 meters

Bidding will be conducted through an open competitive tender process.

WaterAid Ethiopia (WAE) hereby invites eligible bidders to submit their bids for the procurement of Vehicle.

1. A complete set of bid document can be obtained from WAE’s office from July 18, 2022 to July 29, 2022 during working hours, 08:30 AM – 12:30 PM and 01:30 PM – 05:00 PM.

• Bids must be accompanied with renewed business licence and registration, VAT, TIN Registration Certificate and these must be submitted together with the technical proposal.
• Bidders should submit their offers in sealed envelopes to WAE’s office on or before, Thursday 29 June 2022 until 01:00 PM.
• Offer must be accompanied by a bid bond amounting to two (2%) of the offer in the form of bank guarantee or CPO valid at least for three months from the date of bid opening. The CPO must be attached in the original financial document.

5. Bid must be presented in envelopes clearly identified by bidder’s name, address, legal stamp and reference number Ref: WAE/VHC/HO/OB/2022/Ep0010.

• Bidders must submit the technical and financial proposal document separately. The technical and financial proposal should have one original and copy on the cover. Each envelop shall be stamped and sealed. In the event of any discrepancy between them the original will prevail.

1. 5. All Electromechanical contractors are required to submit a bid bond of 2% of the bid amount in the form of unconditional bank Guarantee, cash or CPO only issued by a recognized local bank along with the bid document.
6. Bids shall be valid at least for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by Bid security of not less than 2 % of Contract price in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO or cash and shall be delivered to Addis Ababa Abattoirs Enterprise, procurement department, room no 30, on or before 11 August 2022 at 10:00 AM (GMT + 3) at which time the bid will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.
