Beamlak Tessema flying the tri-color in Kuwait

Ethiopian Football most renowned arbiter Beamlak Tessema Weyesa is busy in Kuwait Premier League season following an official invitation letter through Ethiopian Football Federation.
Though Beamlak threatened poorly by Sidama Bunna FC while officiating a local league fixture against Hawassa Ketema two weeks before, the much admired international received a red carpet welcoming reception from Kuwait Football Federation where he received an honor Diploma from KFA Board Director Sheik Ahmed Al-Yousef Al-Sabah along with Tunisian international referee Haitham Kirat.
Beamlak, considered one of the few elite international referee of African continent had been the sole representative of Ethiopia in World Football huge stages including the 2018 Russian World Cup and 2021 Tokyo Olympic.
The 41 year-old no nonsense referee Beamlak and Haitham Kirat son of the current Tunisian Referee’s Committee Head Hisham Kirat are the only two foreign match officials invited to take part in KFA Premier League season that brings together ten clubs.
Al-Arabi is the defending champion that boasts the highest number of titles (17).
