PMGC Final African Qualifiers to Be Held

Registration has officially opened for the PUBG MOBILE 2026 competitive season qualifier, marking a significant milestone in the history of African esports. Dubbed “Road to 2026 PMGO Season 2,” this tournament represents a crucial turning point for African mobile gamers to showcase their talent on the global stage and compete for massive cash prizes.

Considered the final opportunity for African teams in the current competitive season, this tournament serves as a direct pathway to the prestigious PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC). African competitors face fierce rivalry to secure a spot in this global championship, which boasts a staggering total prize pool of $3,000,000.

Furthermore , the winning squad will earn a direct slot in the “2026 PMGO Season 2″—featuring a $500,000 prize pool—where they will represent Africa in an intense cross-continental showdown.

Tournament organizers announced that specific eligibility criteria have been established to maintain competitive integrity. Accordingly, players must have achieved at least a “Platinum” tier or higher in Ranked Classic Mode to participate. Additionally, each registering squad must consist of a baseline roster of at least four players.

Industry analysts emphasize that this tournament will inject significant momentum into Africa’s rapidly expanding esports sector. As African players continue to gain recognition on the international stage, initiatives like this are expected to provide excellent opportunities for youth to transition from casual gaming into legitimate, professional esports careers.

Teams interested in competing can complete their registration process through the official PUBG MOBILE website. It was also noted that all players who successfully register will be entered into a special lucky draw for a chance to win new smartphones.
