Jimma AbaJifar takes top table for the first time

Aggressively determined to strong Ethiopian Premier League title contender Jimma AbaJifar wrangled away the top table spot from Dedebit after crashing away victory over Sidama Bunna. A three points forfeit against Woldya Ketema followed by an astonishing home victory over Dedebit, Fasil Ketema has joined the heavy weights.
Head coach Gebremedin Haile’s 4-4-2 formation spearheaded by Okiki Afolabi and Samson Kolcha appeared to be too strong to the home side Sidama Bunna. Adama Sisoco, Afolabi and Henok Essayas on the score sheet AbaJifar returned home with all three points thus took the driving seat of the league for the first time in the club’s history. For the first time in the score sheet since the season’s opening hat trick, Dawit Fekadu scored to Hawassa in their 2-1 home win over strong side Adama Ketema. Hawassa stands seventh in the table with 29 points while a game in hand Adama eighth in goal differences. Fitsum G/Mariam in his debut winning goal to his new side Mekelakya, the Army side took tenth with 22 points while miserable Woldya is slipping down to 12th in the table.
